Virtual Earth GIS

In this project we have used Microsoft Virtual Earth, the new SQL Server 2008 with spatial data types and spatial queries, ASP.NET AJAX and WCF Services.

We have build a database of Map locations records for specific locations and then used ASP.NET AJAX and the Virtual Earth services to exploit these location records found in the database.

The overall architecture of GIS is prescribed below
